I've always loved the thrill of exploring a place I've never been before—wandering through unfamiliar streets, getting lost, and finding my way again. Some of the best experiences happen when there's no set path, just instincts and curiosity leading the way.
That's exactly how I found cybersecurity. Back in 10th grade, I had no clear map, no guide. Just questions. What happens behind the login screen? How do systems really work? What if I tried going a different way?
Then I stumbled upon NetworkChuck, David Bombal, and other cybersecurity explorers. Their content wasn't just educational—it felt like following seasoned travelers into a world most people don't see. I started digging in, breaking things (ethically), understanding how systems could be exploited and secured.
Every challenge felt like discovering an unmarked road, a hidden passageway, a locked door waiting to be understood. That curiosity led me through pentesting, security research, and now a Master's in Cybersecurity at RIT. The journey hasn't stopped. There's always more to explore.
